Since his first spoonful of gelato, The Gelato Maker founder, Yaron Cohen, knew his love for the sweet treat would eventually lead him to exploring the origins of the Italian confection and well…the rest is history!
An Israeli native, Cohen opened the renowned shop this past April to the delight of Scottsdale, Arizona natives after training exclusively in Barcelona, Spain with the Aldo family, a well-known family whose legendary gelato-making skills precede them throughout Europe. Following months of intensive preparation under the tutelage of the Aldo family’s master gelato makers, Cohen has brought his obsession for this decadent dessert to the States, determined to be the reigning Gelato King of the East Valley.
